Sandia National Labs Academic Programs Collaboration Report

Developing an Innovation in Energy Leadership Certificate Program Approximately 30 rising leaders in Sandia’s Energy & Climate Security Program tapped into their potential as program influencers and decision-makers thanks to an Innovation in Energy Leadership Certificate Program developed and conducted by Sandia, the UT Austin Engineering Institute, and the McCombs School of Business. The eight-week, 27-hour program, conducted in April-May 2022, was led by UT Austin faculty members. Sandia’s Campus Partnership Manager for UT Austin Nadine Miner participated in and facilitated the program. “Energy and climate is important for ensuring the safety and security of our nation,” said Miner. “UT Austin is one of the leading energy and climate research institutions in the world. Sandia’s LDRD work will advance significantly by leveraging UT’s research expertise, world-class facilities, and student talent.”
